SCWO - MDIS Women’s Dialogue
CREA celebrated International Women’s Day 2018, in style. Associate Director Jiaming Ju presented at the MDIS-SCWO Women’s Dialogue entitled “Ageing Population: The Opportunities and Challenges for Women”. She spoke about “Bringing Women Back to the Labour Market”.
Specially invited for the Dialogue was Tin Pei Ling, Member of Parliament for MacPherson, who discussed the Government’s initiatives on bringing women back to the workforce.
Susana Harding, Director of International Longevity Centre Singapore, Tsao Foundation, was part of the Dialogue and she focused on the financial aspects of ageing.
The audience comprised both men and women from all walks of life and they posed many questions. There was much applause when Jiaming told the women in the audience that they needed to be less critical of other women.
About MDIS-SCWO Women’s Conference
This women’s conference is jointly organised by Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS) and SCWO with the purpose for encouragement and aspiration, to both men and women executives from diverse industries to discuss trending topics in the market place.
The theme, Ageing Population: The Opportunities and Challenges for Women is a prominent issue given the rapid increase in the ageing population in Singapore. Therefore, we believe that the sharing of your knowledge and insights will give foresights and guidance to working professionals on how they can secure a comfortable retirement.
There will be at least 2 other speakers on the panel, together with a moderator. Ms Tin Pei Ling will be the keynote speaker for the conference. There will be a question and answer session where questions from the floor will be taken. We are expecting an audience of 300-400 that comprises junior to mid-level executives across industries and government agencies.
